Preparation

J&K Govt. announced new directives for all Amarnath Yatries to get their yatra registered from J&K bank. In our team finally ten members made up their mind and agreed for yatra in which 8 from Mumbai and 2 from Bokaro (Jharkhand). Among them, nine members were between 25 to 40 years of age while only my daddy (Sri B.P. Singh) was of 65 years old. In beginning he was reluctant due to his old age and health problem but became agree after our repeated request.

Mr. Shiv kr. Singh (Alias Shiva) voluntarily rendered his services to get the registration from J&K Bank and do the registration through his own contacts. Mr. Mangesh Rane booked train tickets 90 days before on 10thapril, 2010. Due to a few minutes late he got R.A.C. status in “Swaraj Express” the only train from Mumbai to Jammu Tawi. Daddy and Ranjan got confirmed ticket from Dhanbad to Jammu tawi with one day break journey at Haridwar.

As per daddy’s advice and check list we arranged all necessary items required in the trek route i.e. woolen garment, rain coats, polythene sheets, provisions, medicines etc.
